Ron Dennis has tolod that he has no intention of quitting F1, and reaffirmed his status as chief at McLaren F1 Team.
Recently, as the SpyGate scandal fall out continued, many were calling for Dennis to quit.
In the past few days, after the public apology McLaren were forced to make, told that everyone in the team knew all of Ferrari’s data, even Ron Dennis, many thought that was the end of the Brit’s job. Newspapers reported that Mercedes Benz were going to use their 40% stake in the team (35% more than Dennis’) to oust him from position.
“I’m not going to quit. That is 100 per cent,” Dennis told The News Of The World.
“I know there are people out there who want me to retire, but I’m not. I do not think it would be in the best interests of the team.”
