It is clear that Lewis Hamilton hasn’t inherited any racing genes from his father after Anthony Hamilton smashed up a £330,000 Porsche while showing off.
The man who has been at his son’s side borrowed the Porsche, and moments after setting off from his home lost control of the sophisticated racing machine, spinning 180 degrees crashing through a wooden fence, hedge and ending up in a children’s playground.
The Porsche Carrera GT was a limited production sports car witha V10 engine and capable of speeds in excess of 200mph. The car was originally designed as a Le Mans project, but Porsche decided to turn it into a road car instead.
Onlookers claimed that moments before the crash, Hamilton who had his wife Linda in the passenger seat was showing off revving the engine.
”This is my first crash in almost 30 years and it had to happen in someone else’s car.” Hamilton exclaimed yesterday
“Thankfully the only thing hurt was the car and a bush fence, for which I am extremely sorry.”
Tree surgeon Daniel Winn, 23, told The Mirror: “I was working near his house and saw him leave in the Porsche. He started revving the car really hard and wheel-spinned off. He had the roof down and looked at me before he put his foot down. He roared off and 50 yards down the road lost it on the corner.
“The car spun around at 180 degrees and left the road. There was a terrible bang. I ran over and I asked if he was alright. He just said ‘yes’ and staggered off, looking really shocked.
“A bit later he drove back in a 4X4 to take a look at the Porsche. I rang to report the accident.”

Is it just me or did Lewis manage to make the first sentence of this post extremely ironic in today’s race?
I am inclined to agree there garf. I dont think any racing blood is running with them!
