Schumacher Is Germany's Fastest Taxi Driver

Michael Schumacher has taken the unofficial title of Germany’s Fastest Taxi Driver after jumping behind the wheel of a mini-cab to ensure he got himself and his family to the airport on time.

Schumacher, together with wife and children were late after making an unscheduled visit to the village of Gehuelz near Coburg in southern Germany during a brief holiday. Schumacher called for a taxi, and realising they were going to be late, commandered the minicab and raced it back to the airport.

“It was crazy having Schumi driving, with me in the passenger seat” The taxi driver told Muenchner Abenzeitung

“He hardly seemed to use the brake, and overtook in amazing places” he added

Schumacher paid his €60 fee, and gave the taxi driver a €100 tip.
