Nakajima Safe As Williams Confirm 2009 Line-Up
Kazuki Nakajima has done enough to secure his place with the Williams F1 Team for the 2009 season, Frank Williams revealed in a team press release this morning.
The Japanese driver raced for the first time in Brazil 2007, and has put in some solid performances over the course of the 2008 season.
With Nico Rosberg already been confirmed earlier in the year, this means that Williams’ ine-up will remain unchanged as they head into the new year.
Test driver Nico Hulkenberg, widely touted as another brilliant German talent is staying as a test driver as he trailblazes a career through lower formula’s.
“I am delighted we are able to maintain continuity with our drivers going into 2009.” Frank Williams said,
“Nico Rosberg continues to be one of the most capable drivers in the sport. Kazuki is getting stronger all the time and has more to offer and Nico Hulkenberg is developing well.”
