Merry Christmas 2008!
Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! Happy Hannukkah!
Hello readers! I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a warm, merry and happy Christmas and a prosperous new year.
It is our second Christmas here on F1Fanatics, and I cannot believe that I have been writing now for around 19 months.
It has been an honour to bring you the latest news and reviews from the F1 paddock, and it is nice to have a good reader base and some special fans that I have had the opportunity to virtually meet!
2008 has been an interesting year, and with the global economic slow down it seems that F1 will be tightening its belt like most of you at home. If you are fortunate enough to still have a job, spare a thought for all of those Honda workers who won’t have one to go back too, and their suppliers. Also a thought to all the Rally teams, like Subaru and Suzuki who have shut down their operations. Indeed, many people will be facing a bad new year without a job, and without a steady source of income.
Christmas in my household? Well ill be cracking open some presents, probably mainly motorsport ones, eating turkey with traditional English vegetables and having a nice glass of scotch in the afternoon while watching HRH the Queen’s speech.
Enjoy yourselves, and i’ll be back in the run up to New Year!
