Schumi Invited To Buy Honda Team

Former 7 time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher was approached by Honda to buy the team out, it has been revealed today.

The German legend’s manager Wili Webber released the news as it was alleged by a spokesperson of Honda that their buyer was in place.

Schumacher was offered the team, possibly by Ross Brawn, but he felt it was not the right time for such an investment, especially given the current economic climate.

“There was an enquiry,” Weber confirmed to the Cologne newspaper Express,

Bbut neither I nor Michael are going to take part in Formula One in this way.”

“Michael is happy with his life and – as far as motor racing is concerned – I am focused on the career of Nico Hulkenberg,” Weber added.
