Jamiroquai Front Man And Major F1 Fan Has £1m Enzo Smashed
Jamiroquai’s front man Jay Kay has had the windows on his £1millon Ferrari Enzo supercar smashed in at a hotel in England.
The music megastar allegedly had an argument with a 21 year old man, and later on in the evening Kay discovered the windscreen and passenger windows on his car had been vandalised. The car, which is one of the closest road going vehicles to an F1 car, is a limited edition of just 400 which were sold to special Ferrari customers.
Kay is well known for his love of cars, and his love of F1 being present at various races over the years, most often a guest of the Scuderia Ferrari team. Kay also played with his band at the launch of the 1998 McLaren F1 car, and composed the title intro music for ITVF1’s coverage, a piece used between 1997 and 1999.
The gentleman who undertook this act of mindless vandalism has been arrested by police.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said: “A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is in custody at Lowestoft police station.”
