Schuey Takes #3 Car Off Rosberg

Seven time world champion Michael Schumacher, who has come out of retirement to drive for Mercedes Benz in a 3 year multi-million dollar deal is already exherting some of his influence over the new team.

Schumacher was originally destined for the #4 car, the team securing numbers 3 and 4 from BrawnGP’s constructors championship win.

However Schuey, who says he prefers odd numbered cars, now has the higher numbered machine.

“Ross [Brawn] knows that I like odd numbers,” Schumacher was reported as saying by German newspaper Bild.

A Mercedes GP team spokesperson told Reuters: “Michael has a preference for odd numbers. He asked if he could be the odd number and we were happy to accept.”

For me, have one number or another different it’s not important. It’s a same for me. But I think Michael want this number for appear like de first racing driver of the Mercedes GP. Personally I think Michael it’s a little “stupid”. But there are many opinions. Greetings.
